Chef John Scritchfield has worked in a number of kitchens over the years starting in Cassville, Missouri with his parent’s donut shop in 1980. Since then he has gained experience working in a number of different dining atmospheres including: restaurants, university dining and catering.
John started at Twin Oaks Country Club in March of 1989. During his time working in the kitchen he eventually assumed the responsibilities as Sous Chef. After six years he decided to pursue other opportunities. He returned to Twin Oaks in 2005 as the Executive Chef. Since his employment, he has earned the designation as a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation.
John is married to his wife, Missy, and together they enjoy spending time with their daughters. Not only is John a family man and our Executive Chef but he also shares his passion for food as a culinary teacher at Ozark Technical College.
