Meet the Administrators
John C. Welter, CCM
John comes to us from The Commerce Club in Greenville, South Carolina which is an operation owned by ClubCorp of America. John brings us a very strong Club Management background, having begun his career in the Ritz Carlton organization where he advanced to Catering Sales Manager in Kansas City. He moved from there to a GM role at Oakwood Country Club in Kansas City and GM of Homestead Country Club in Prairie Village, KS.
Throughout his career John has demonstrated an ability to manage clubs through good times and bad and his references confirmed his expertise in financial planning and budgeting, operations improvement, food/beverage and catering management, golf operations and more.
Michelle grew up in St. Charles, Missouri and moved to Springfield to attend college at Missouri State University. She pursued a degree in Elementary Education and graduated in 2007.
Michelle began serving at Twin Oaks in the summer of 2007 while attending school. Within her time at Twin Oaks she has been promoted to Restaurant Supervisor, Accounts Payable and most recently to Office Manager.
Club House Manager
Deanna began working at Twin Oaks Country Club in 1996 as the bookkeeper. During her tenure she has served the club in the following positions: bartender, Server, Hostess, interim Food and Beverage Director, Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable and is currently our Clubhouse Manager. Deanna holds an Associate of Science Degree in Hospitality Management.
She is a member of the Club Managers Association of America and serves on the National Club Solutions Committee. She has also served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President and President for her local Chapter of the CMAA.
